The DCYF Community Connect program is seeking to recruit and train adult volunteers to serve as Mentors for youth ages 14+ who are in foster care or residential placement through DCYF’s Manchester District Office. Mentors are matched with youth based on shared interests. A mentor helps the youth to set goals, supports them through challenges, and helps them create the future they want.
Mentors and mentees can enjoy activities in the community or meet youths at their current residence to have fun! This opportunity allows you to be a positive role model to our foster youths.
We want our youth in care to build meaningful adult connections, so we ask mentors for a year-long commitment of 4 hours per month.
